Story
This mid 1930s ring of 10k yellow gold sends that classic cluster form to a different place. Always intriguing, fifteen white opals, total weight of 4.76 carats take you on an out of this world play of color.
With an oval opal cabochon of 4.2 carats as the focal point, vivid blues and vibrant greens sway in a seductive dance drawing the viewer deeper and deeper into a trance. As a passionate embrace, a narrow gold bezel with a subtle sawtooth perimeter clasps the stone.
As petals emitting an enticing aroma, fourteen round opal cabochons each .04 carats, border the main gem with an array of flashing neon and dynamic hue. The setting consists of a series of Individual coronet mounts with high prongs and open spaces.
Trumpet shaped shoulders are given a treatment of appliqué-like decoration which follows the contours and then segues into a slender shank.
