Knife edge silver topped 18k yellow gold provides a net like frame holding a spray of rose cut diamonds. This type of thin linear metal work gained its popularity during the early years of the 20th century.
More rose cut diamonds provide a glittering perimeter. An oval faceted mint green emerald of .60 carats is set centermost and plays counterpoint to two fancy cut diamond shaped rubies of a total of .40 carats.
All together, .25 carats of antique rose cuts (I-K, clarity SI1-3) add their delicacy. Note the openwork leaf designs in the 18k gold shank. Pure exquisite style and workmanship.
