Art Nouveau jewelry designs loved to incorporate nature into their creations. Flowers and plants were at times, represented in a stylized or realistic manner.

This early twentieth century 14k yellow gold pendant brooch displays a fragile-appearing five petal colored flower covered with enamel of variegated shade of purple.
An old European diamond of .12 carats (I-J color; SI1-2-clarity) is centered within the bloom. Golden stamens radiate from the diamond with a warm glow.
An unusual rim of delightful daisies with golden centers are enrobed with white enamel and surround the central flower with the essence of Spring.
To the reverse is the original tube hinge and a fold down bale to use the brooch as a pendant.
