Three stones align on the diagonal, royal blue for the sapphire and white and glittering for the diamonds.
In platinum topped 18k yellow gold for the top shoulders and yellow gold for the rest, the central natural sapphire is shaped as a rectangular emerald cut of 1/2 carat (.50 points).
It is not easy to find such a saturated blue without veering into a gemstone appearing inky or black, but this sapphire is a distinct, rich blue hue.
Its companions in drama are two old European brilliant cut diamonds totaling .30 carats. They impress with their fiery white personality at a color H-I, and clarity VS2-SI1 (for clear inclusion only your eye will never see).
