Moi et toi, or French for me and you, these rings are akin to the crossover or bypass style.
Symbolizing the meeting of two minds, or a joining of two as one, this sentimental ring features an old mine cut diamond of .35 carats. White and lively in presence, it rates a color of H-I with a clarity of SI1-2 for clear inclusions and only a minute speck of dark.
In its orbit is a natural reddish, deep pink ruby of .30 carats in weight. Both are set with coronet or crown galleries, the diamond with platinum prongs. The remainder is a subtle 18k rose gold.
And what's this ring's celestial hidden something special? Inside the diamond is a natural inclusion that resembles a miniature comet. Such a rare thing; there is a minute head and a clear tail that fans out as if it is shooting through the night sky.
Don't try this at home, for you won't see it. But it is there. It is visible only by a jeweler or with powerful magnification, such as a 10x loupe.
It's a ring to remind us of the mysteries in the natural world.
