Begin with an antique old European cut diamond of 1.02 carats and bezel set it for long term durability. Like ripples in a sylvan lake after a pebble's descent, two waves of resplendent sapphires form halos of color.
At 2.21 carats in total weight, there are 56 natural sapphires in two graduated eight-sided channels. Each gemstone is calibré cut to precision to maximize their flickering, azure and electric beauty.
Between each a thin octagon of platinum demarcates the two halos with another to the edge. Down each side, four square cut diamonds add their sleek and icy brilliance. The entire mounting is platinum with an airy basketweave gallery underneath.
Details: Total diamond weight for the ring of 1.23 carats. A 1.02 C antique old European diamond, K-L color, VS clarity. Eight square cut diamonds, total of .21 carats, G-H color, VS clarity.
