Pale apricot hues with bright highlights characterize the 6.86 carat oval faceted no heat natural sapphire. Simply prong set into a platinum mount, the main gem has extraordinary color, fire and brilliance which capture the gaze.
This is one gemstone that you will never see again, its color scarce and its vibrancy, clarity and fire remarkable.
Shoulders are embellished with two trapezoid and two square cut diamonds. These four diamonds have a total weight of .66 carats with G-H color and VS clarity. Details include the two trapezoids with total weight of .36 carats and two square cuts of a .30 carat total weight.
A platinum gallery takes on an inverted open pyramid form enabling maximum light to flow to the culets of the diamonds.
GIA certificate number 1182058127 accompanies the sapphire.
Note: The House of Spaulding & Co. was established in Chicago Illinois and Paris, France in 1889. Henry Spaulding had previously been associated with Black, Ball and Company from 1857 until 1864 as well as Tiffany and Company from 1871 until he opened his own business in 1889 - two of the leading jewelry houses of the day.
