A florette of chrysoberyl gems illuminates the countenance with their brilliancy and fervid light.
Their inherent properties combine their perky lime green color and high refraction to create a wheel of glowing gems. One larger center and eight surrounding it are placed into closed backed, crimped collets of 10k yellow gold.
A beaded, textural border encircles the flower or cluster. Dating to circa 1800, these gems were first mined in Brazil by the Spanish and Portuguese during the 17th and 18th centuries.
Brazilians often call the gem "crisólita" and museum collections from these two cultures abound in extravagant uses of these beauties.
Back-to-front ear wires of 14k gold ensure their security. Easy to take on and off once you are used to them, just ask if you need a few quick tips.
