But with the introduction of the Aesthetic Movement, and inspiration from Japan and other countries' themes and design elements, a whole new genre enlivened jewelry design.
In this case, the ginkgo leaf. A lyrical organic fan shape, this leaf is from the Ginkgo tree, one of the oldest living species on earth. In Asian culture, it represents longevity and endurance.
Depicted in rose gold over silver, numerous leaves are placed within two diagonal stripes. Between are varied bands of patterns stacked horizontally on this charming bangle.
