In fact, this is the first Georgian-era long chain in silver The Three Graces has ever offered for sale in our 20-year history.
At a grand length of 50.25 inches, this sumptuous length can be wrapped two or even three times.
Cleverly designed, each link forms a "box" of two articulated links. With scalloped edges, the elements are highly polished and each "box" alternately faces forward or to the side. The entire chain is slinky and refracts light.
Painstakingly handmade, it is a textural and visual masterwork. So often these chains have been shortened over the many intervening years and fortunately for us, this one remains as intended.
The original barrel clasp shows off tiny silver granulation and filigree spirals.
