A fly zips by on its way to a flower, but this airborne insect whizzing by just happens to be studded with diamonds and those special compound eyes are really rubies.

Alighting on a six petaled flower of enamel and 15k gold, it rests frozen in time. On the underside, lies a locket compartment that could be opened by a jeweler (or just ask if you wish this done for you) with linen colored fabric inside.
Pure Victoriana, this remarkable and whimsical bracelet holds a sheen and luster par excellence. The secret lies within that mesmerizing cobalt blue enamel. Because it was placed over textured metal, it appears to glow from within. Overall, the hue reads as the deepest indigo, but with a glossy finish and lighter highlights.
The links are shaped and three dimensional, with gold links between each holding three natural saltwater pearls.
A motif since ancient times, the fly has ranged in symbolism from the ceaseless quest to eternal life, also unity and was a sacred creature of the Greeks.

Twelve old mine and rose cut diamonds, with a total weight of .20 carats.
Two cabochon rubies of .02 carats.
