From the maker, Sydenham Brothers of Chester, England is the opal and diamond ring.
Dating to the year 1916, it holds three Australian opals (and four diamonds in a central rectangular panel. A rare coloration, flickering reds dominate two of the opals, along with neon green and yellows.
This trilogy or three-stone ring was created in 18k yellow gold.
The shoulders are defined by a deep pattern resembling leaves.
Straight and polished, the gallery beneath the gem area contrasts with the embellishments and the ring overall rests very low on the finger.
