Story
No matter how many pieces of antique jewelry you have sought out, the endless parade of never-before-seen designs should never cease to amaze.
So tactile and eye-catching, this is a generously sized pendant fob, likely originally suspended from a chatelaine.
In silver, the top sports a dog clip fitting. Waves in the form of bars of silver cascade downward, fitting so closely together their movement is slinky and tactile. Ever increasing in length, each is artfully hinged and undulates fluidly.
Its base is puffy repoussé silver with roses, flowers, and scrolling leaves. Beneath is a rose gold over silver hollow egg-shaped drop.
A cap of flourishes, more scrollwork, a line of silver beadwork encircles the center and additional dynamic curves grace the bottom. Weighty, it is a delight to behold, touch and wear.
