It is almost a given that solitaire diamond rings have their place. However, a ring which features a lovely diamond AND is virtually encrusted with these sparkling gems most certainly can challenge that statement…and here is the proof.
Luxurious platinum serves as the foundation for a glittering, old European cut diamond of .43 carats (I-J color; SI1-2 clarity). Radiating from the center is a gentle, undulating sweep of more platinum with mille grain edging (small beaded edges) as diamond after diamond placed atop.
Across the expanse a total of forty-four (44) additional old European cut diamonds with a total weight of .85 carats (I-J color; VS2-SI2 clarity) light up the mount. The ring totals 1.28 carats of uncontested glow.
A scalloped border works beautifully with the open under-gallery; a slender feminine shank with shoulder accents completes the standout ring.
