Story
This is a classic example of a late 19th century Victorian ring crafted in 14k rose gold quite the fashion at that time. A three stone ring set in a vertical profile, the jewel incorporates two of the favored stones of the age — the diamond and the garnet.
An old mine cut diamond of .07 carats (H-I color; VS-SI1 clarity) is juxtaposed with two (2) garnets of .05 carats each north and south. All gems are placed individually in a feminine coronet or crown-type mount. Golden finials top the three-stone cluster. Please note the side scrolls, orbs and ridged detailing both horizontal and vertical appointing the setting. Hand engraved to the interior with worn a inscription of initials “I.H.N to M”.
