A round, flat cabochon, it measures 16 mm in diameter. Three major fields or swatches of eye-popping hues dance across the surface.
Just for visualization of its scale, this is larger than a 13 carat diamond! Yet its deep, resonant, and underwater seascape shades render this wearable for almost any occasion, dressed up or down.
It is set in a coronet mounting of 18k yellow gold with a base of open pyramids.
An old mine-cut diamond tops the opal and at the tip, a shapely bale holds three petite rose-cut diamonds.
