Impressively realistic (except for all those radiant diamonds), this is one of the finest pansy jewels of this period The Three Graces has ever offered.
Exquisitely fashioned in 18k yellow gold, the rendering of a pansy is so realistic that it appears frozen in time. Coloration is realized in a true-to-life palette of deep eggplant, hues of rich violet, and sunny yellow with gold veins.
Each petal is three-dimensional and curvaceous, rimmed at the edge with diamonds. Every petal is different in shape, size, and adornment. A stem is also diamond tipped.
An early example, this dates to the Victorian period around 1880 studded with the appropriate antique diamonds.
