In its original antique box with Easter lilies on the lid, comes this exceptional antique cross pendant with statues of Mary & Joseph.

The fitted maroon leather box is stamped with three Easter lilies, one larger and two smaller representing the Holy Trinity. Associated with the resurrection of Jesus, the lily flower is also referenced by Jesus in the Bible. Each lily is painted with gold and silver as is the scrolling border.
This serves as both the box and a stand to display the set (see photos). Inside, are niches, the largest for the crucifix with Jesus on the cross. At the ends of each arm rest cherub or angel faces in relief.
Beside him are the crowned Mary with Baby Jesus, and Joseph, both in flowing robes. Constructed in repouss? (hollow and stamped out in relief) the three are light in weight.
The box is fitted and lined with burgundy-colored velvet. In historical paintings and lilies are also representative of the Virgin Mary or the Angel of Annunciation and with purity and faith.
