A perfect wearable size, the heart's front holds three points of color: white, red, and blue. Hand engraving revels they mimic tiny flowers or leaves.
White sapphire is the clear stone, and the red and blue stones are glass.
Above, a valance of loops hangs below the raised midline, and above, curlicues of twisted wire and dots of gold add to the ornate details.
The reverse is plain and hallmarked for the year 1899.
