More than 158 carats of natural amethysts have found their way into this classic Victorian rivière (riviere) necklace.
Oval and faceted in shape, these natural amethysts graduate in size around the entire necklace. Their hues range from a medium lilac purple in color to place but distance highlights.
Clear and brilliant, the most accurate photo for judging their color is the necklace in the hand. The amethysts range from 21 mm long down to 13 mm. Each is set in its individual 9k yellow gold crimped collets and with open backs allowing a maximum of refraction.
