SPECIAL MARKDOWN! Exceptional Value!
The wearable treasure from the Victorian era was inspired by the ethereal butterfly translated into 14k gold, enamel, diamonds and pearls.
Dating to circa 1860, the center is a roundel of concave gold that cups a glorious butterfly insect of royal and navy blue enamel with touches of iridescent crimson and hints of forest green.
Six tiny rose cut diamonds demarcate the wings. Its body is gold, textured and segmented with petite antennae.
To the sides, V shapes of rose cut diamonds terminate in two button shaped, half natural saltwater pearls or alabaster white.
