Story
In the history of jewelry, cluster rings are considered to be a staple. Nothing quite sets off a ring than a large central gem surrounded by a series of smaller gems. Such a concept allows the jeweler to configure an almost infinitesimal variety of designs.
The platinum halo ring demonstrates the combination of the techniques of handcrafting and casting for the mounting.
For dramatic pause, .92 carats of sheer white brilliance are arranged in a flower form. At the center, a brilliant cut diamond of .25 carats (G-H color; SI2-3 clarity for clear inclusions) is bezel set in the center.
Around the center diamond is a surround of 10 old single cut diamonds, each .06 carats, total of .60 carats (I-J color; VS2-SI1 clarity) bead set in a pie shaped wedge of mille grained platinum.
The pierced under-gallery has an overall perspective of a group of stylized open work hearts or petals nestled one next to the other. Trumpet shaped shoulders are embellished with 4 brilliant cut diamonds .07 carats total (H-I color; SI1-2 clarity) with two graduated in size on each shoulder. A slender shank completes the ring.
