The use of several colors of gold adds such visual appeal that is a wonder it isn't used more often.
In this larger than usual monogram pendant, 10k rose and green gold define the initials. Intertwined and decorative, both a "V" and an "H" weave a single dance.
Antique and dating to around 1880, the surfaces are textured and incised to impart an organic leafy feel. So decorative in fact, that you have to look twice to realize that these are initials and not just an ornamental pendant.
