A sensational price, this teardrop cabochon opal is over 11/16 inches in length below the cap, or 18 mm and deep and wide at 9/16 inches (over 13 mm).
Horizontal layers and "stripes" contain every rainbow hue, with electric greens and neon blues dominating. Twirl it, wear it, admire it...this 14 carat Australian opal is worthy of admiration.
A four-part, articulated silver top and cap is dotted with old mine and rose cut diamonds. Twenty three together total .42 carats, with a color range of I-K, and clarity SI1-3. The setting for the top mounting is silver topped 14k gold.
