Rich and glorious, it can be worn as a pendant or a brooch and looks as chic and in vogue as it did over 130 years ago. The juxtaposition of the gold bead work (or granulation) is a visual delight against the cool silver and diamonds.
Demantoid garnets from Russia, mined long ago in the Ural Mountains, provide their yellow grass-green touches of color. At the center, a luminous blue moonstone wavers with an aurora borealis of otherworldly icy light.
From the moonstone, an eight-pointed star radiates outward, completely encrusted with old European, cushion and old mine cut diamonds set in silver.
