Large in overall scope yet in perfect symmetry, this two-part 20k yellow gold brooch pendant features evocative faceted royal purple amethyst gemstones.
The top section showcases delicate repouss? metal work of shell-like elements embracing cannetille flower heads. Situated with a horizontal orientation an oval cut amethyst of 18.75 carats is placed within the center.
Suspended from meticulously designed decorative gold chain is a vertical drop spotlighting a pear shaped 6.5 carat faceted amethyst. Fragile appearing repouss? forms and woven threads of golden cannetille surround the stone with just a kiss of a caress.
This antique treasure demonstrates the harmonious balance which jewelers of this time achieved.
