A pack of five realistically carved dogs blurs the lines between art, sculpture, and fine jewelry.
Each canine represented in this 18k gold pendant refers to a different breed and type.
A small furry-faced terrier is the smallest and the only one facing forward. An airedale terrier in the foreground gathers next to a greyhound, whippet, or sighthound. Behind, two more dogs, a Great Dane, and a long-eared basset hound all face left.
In medium relief, the quality is evident the moment you set eyes on this medallion. Larger than a charm, it is well suited to wear by itself on a chain.
A beautifully shaped fitting rests at the top holding an oval bale. The coloration of the gold is rich, and the textures bring out the sheen and hues of the precious metal.
Hand engraved, the reverse displays, "Esposiz Canine" for Dog Show and obviously the winner's name, "Allesandria".
