Story
Two opposing dolphins or fish cavort within a toffee-hued banded agate. The top surface, carved in intaglio in the white section of the agate, allows the tawny hue beneath to show through.
Whether this is an image for the zodiac sign, Pisces, or a Renaissance revival motif, it is yours to interpret. Dolphins were a favored theme of the period.
In 18k gold, the setting is nothing but exceptional. A curved and lyrical under gallery is supported on each side by abstracted scallop shells.
Tapering down, these transition to horizontal bands of more gold. Then to a side and substantial shank. For any gender, its neutral scale and medium size, allow it to be worn by many a hand.
