Twenty-five old cut diamonds rest arranged in three rows, with the middle row offset from the two outer ones.
A glittering swathe of diamonds totals 3/4 of a carat (.75 carats). It is difficult to detect where one begins and another ends.
A mix of antique chunky Swiss cuts and single cuts, they have square or rectangular perimeters, rather than round. Beautiful white and shimmering, their color is H-I, and clarity VS2-SI3 for only clear inclusions.
If only we knew who gifted and received this ring. It is hand engraved to the inside, "E.C.C. October 12, 1903", and hallmarks are present for the year of its creation of 1887.
